Legal & Disclaimer

Hold Firm helps you stay organised. It does not replace your own judgement, your own records, or your own checks.

EFFECTIVE DATE: 6 AUGUST 2026

Use at your own risk

You choose to use Hold Firm, and you use it entirely at your own risk and liability. The app is an organisational aid for documents you already hold. It does not issue, validate, certify, or renew anything.

No liability for loss or missed deadlines

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer and holdfirm.app are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. This includes, without limitation, missed deadlines, expired or lapsed documents, penalties, rejected applications, financial loss, loss of data, corrupted or unavailable files, failed or incomplete backups and restores, undelivered or delayed notifications, and any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Automatic extraction is best effort

The detection of document types, numbers, issued dates, and expiry dates is automated and best effort. It can be wrong, incomplete, or absent, and it may show N/A where no expiry date is found. The file created date is not the same as the issued date printed inside a document. You are responsible for confirming all information against the original document, and for correcting it in the app where needed.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time by your device or operating system.

Limitation of liability

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Backups and device security are yours

You are responsible for keeping your own backups and for the security of your device, passcode, biometrics, and Apple ID. iCloud backup stores files in your own Apple account under Apple's terms, and we have no access to it and no ability to recover it for you.

How you handle your own documents

The developer is not responsible for how you store, edit, export, share, or otherwise handle your own documents, including anything you send to another person or service from the app.

Acceptance

Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer, the Terms & Conditions, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please stop using the app and delete it. Questions can be sent to info@neuraledgesolutions.com.
