Hold Firm is an iOS application published by holdfirm.app. If you have any question about this policy or about your data, you can reach us at info@neuraledgesolutions.com.

Documents, images, PDFs, and the details extracted from them (document type, number, issued date, expiry date) are stored locally on your device and protected at rest using iOS file protection. The app works without an account, so there is no profile, no password, and no server-side copy of your vault held by us.

Backup is optional and off until you turn it on. If you enable it, a copy of your files is stored in your own Apple iCloud account, subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not receive, host, or have access to those files, and we cannot restore them on your behalf. You can remove that data at any time from your Apple storage settings.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. There is no third-party advertising tracking in the app, and no analytics that collect the contents of your documents or the details read from them.

Notification permission is used for a single purpose: reminding you about documents that are approaching or past their expiry date. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS settings.

Camera access is used to scan paper documents you choose to scan. Photos and Files access is used to import documents you choose to import. Nothing is uploaded to us as a result of granting these permissions, and the app does not browse your library in the background.

Hold Firm is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app on a shared device, deleting the app removes its local data.

Because your data is held on your device, you control retention. Deleting a document removes it from the app. Deleting the app removes its local data. If you used iCloud backup, remove the backup from your Apple storage settings to delete that copy as well.

You can access, correct, export (by sharing a document as a PDF, as separate files, or as plain text), and delete your data directly in the app at any time. We may update this policy as the app develops. The effective date above will change when we do. This policy is provided for transparency, and continued use of the app signifies acceptance of it.
